Our Mission
“We exist to give UK teachers a voice and reward them for sharing their professional opinions.”
Teaching is one of the most demanding and consequential professions in the country, yet the teacher voice is too often absent from the decisions that shape it. Only for Teachers was built to change that - by creating a space where UK teachers can share their genuine, unfiltered views on the issues that matter most to them, and where those views are published openly for everyone to see.
What We Do
Only for Teachers is the UK's first teacher survey platform built exclusively for teaching professionals. Every week, we run a short 5-question teacher survey on the topics that matter most in education - workload, wellbeing, curriculum, leadership, technology, and more. Surveys take around 3 minutes and are available only to verified UK teachers.
Every teacher who completes a teacher survey earns points that can be redeemed for real rewards - including Amazon vouchers, TES Resources subscriptions, and other offers relevant to teaching professionals. Every month, we draw 5 winners who each receive £50.
The results of each teacher survey are published in the UK Teacher Pulse Index - a public record of how teachers across the UK think and feel about the issues that affect their profession. The index is free to use for journalism, research, and policy, with attribution.
Who We Are
Only for Teachers was founded by educators who were frustrated with being left out of the national conversation. Despite years of classroom experience, UK teachers are rarely consulted directly on the decisions that shape their working lives. Policy is made, curricula are redesigned, and school leadership decisions are taken - often without authentic teacher voice at the centre.
We are an independent UK teacher community - not a trade union, government body, or lobbying organisation. Our team brings decades of combined classroom experience spanning primary, secondary, and further education. Every feature we build, every survey we design, and every reward we offer is shaped by what genuine teaching professionals tell us they want and need.
Our goal is to make teacher voice matter by collecting honest, anonymous data from UK teaching professionals, publishing it openly, and rewarding teachers fairly for their time. We believe that when teachers speak, the whole education system benefits.
